The author uses Simões Lopes’ tale Trezentas onças as a way of thinking subjectivity through the interlocution of psychoanalysis with literature, culture, and regionalism from the South state of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, called gaúcho regionalism. Being so, she leans over the short story, using its structure to reflect about the drive conflict issues and creative possibilities.
