Abstract

I would like to start this conversation by introducing Janine Puget, who is an extremely important person, internationally recognized. And I would like to tell you that Janine was born in France in 1926 and died in 2020, at the age of 93, almost 94, in Buenos Aires. She emigrated to Argentina at a very young age, where she married Diego Garcia Reinoso, also a psychoanalyst, with whom she had her only son, Pablo, who gave her two grandchildren. She began her professional experience at the Pichon Riviere Clinic, an avant-garde place in Buenos Aires, where the most interesting and creative figures from the psychoanalytic and artistic worlds circulated. She began her psychoanalytic training at the APA (Argentine Psychoanalytic Association), along with her medical degree. She graduated as a doctor in 1959. While she founded the group association, together with strong figures who marked her trajectory, such as Pichon-Rivière, Marie Langer, Emilio Rodrigué and Jorge Mom, she simultaneously began her most institutional stage at the APA, becoming a teacher and member of the steering committee, with Leonardo Wender, a valid interlocutor for twenty years and with whom she produced important works: Mundos superpostos, Análisis eternizados, Los secretos y el secretear, etc. [...]
