Reflexões sobre o desenvolvimento científico e sobre a dinâmica do grupo institucional

Abstract

In this paper the author continues the discussion of the question psychoanalysis-science/psychoanalysis-institution. He analyzes and comments on the undesirabledeviations occurring in the psychoanalytical organizations in the teaching field, of the relationship between psychoanalysts and in the scientific development, which create disturbances in the intra-social relationship and in the development of psychoanalysis. He comments on the anxieties that are at stake in the whole institutional group and which, when not understood, lead to inner figths and to the scientific sterelity. He makes a brief introductory comment on Thomaz Kuhn's ideas about the developmentof science, the evolution of the changes of paradigms and about scientist identity inside an organization. As historical reference, some facts of the institutional organization in the second decade of the century that culminated in the setting up of the statutes of the Psychoanalytical Institute of Berlim, in 1920, are shown. He ends by presenting and commenting ideas of authors about the scientific and institutional problem of the psychoanalytical societies and about inner tendencies that disembogue in conflits.
