Management of apathetic disorders in transferencial bond

Transferencial phenomenon is analyzed in a new context, that is a linguistic and psychosocial one, so conceptualized as a signifier searching its signified and as a part of the primary process of thinking. It is emphasized that transference is an essential factor for the construction of our symbolic life, besides its essential role in the psychoanalytic intervention. The transference disorders, specially those apathetics ones, are studied asblocking events that obstruct the psychoanalytic process, besides their role in improving resistances. Emphasis is made on hypothesis that these disorders are symptoms of disturbances of the therapeutic bond. Five clinical examples are presented so to enlighten the discussion with some technical suggestions.Downloads
