By means of reconstructing Geronimo’s story, the author raised clinical and theoretical questions supported by a linguistic perspective and focused on the suffix “dis”. Emphasis was placed on the fact that the prefix “dis” announces that something that once existed is no longer there. This study also examined similarities, nexus and differences between integration vs. support, non-integration vs. lack of support and helplessness vs. disintegration.
