This article brings material from a patient, which consists of two sessions and the report of a dream. Based on that, one proposes the hypothetical issues which trigger the hardship which the patient struggles with in her adult life. Such material is approached under Klein’s theory concerning the first relations with the object, phantasies, anxieties and defences. Thus, one considers that the difficulties faced by the patient are closely related to the tough object relations of her early life experiences, which are supposed to be harmful to her capacity of atoning primitive sadistic attacks in later stages of life.
