Possible links between narcissisms and death drive for today’s clinic

The diseases based on the narcissistic problematic, borderline cases and melancholia with destructiveness effects on psychological functioning directed to the inner realm of the subject, question metapsychological statements so that new articulations are possible considering the puzzles that the psychoanalytic experience with these patients requires toward transformation. Faced with such questions the text tightens the concepts of narcissism and the death drive from the Freudian and contemporary authors’ postulations.
