This paper is concerned with a conference presented during the VI Jornada de Psicanálise do Triângulo Mineiro (VI Journey of Psychoanalysis of the Triângulo Mineiro), in 1996, wich had Eros and Psyche as its subject. The author restrains his approach to the field of Psychoanalysis, more specifically, about theway the idea of love was developed on Freud's work.
