I begin this review with an excerpt from a poem taken from the book of Lucas Krüger, because that's how this reading settled on me: half poetry, half theory, as in the experience of listening that we offer to those who arrive until us. To be more precise, the words in the epigraph, written by the Polish Wislawa Szymborska, took me to my first supervisory experiences, in which yearned to report the details of each session in a task that always ended up with a bit of frustration, because as soon as the words reached the paper, already distorted what happened behind closed doors. It was also this way let me focus on reading this dense production about the couch, since, if It is through the path of personal analysis that we first reach him, it is through theoretical seminars and clinical practice that concerns are gaining body and voice.
