We are going to present some considerations about the globalization process. For this purpose, we will use some references from the psychoanalytic theory in an attempt of determining some common points between the Globalization and the Psychic Functioning, trying to understand both processes through the formulation of some hypotheses about the opportunities and risks that the
globalization determines on the new kinds of Human Experience, especially on mental life, promoting a new way of living, becoming ill and dying. We will try to find some foundations in the Freudian theory that allow thinking about the effects we are observing in the culture, in the pathologies and in the psychoanalysis.
