Today we gather to reflect on the topic of sexuality and gender. Yet, a start to a conversation. Or a continuation.
The conceptual development and construction of Freud's theoretical conception of Psychoanalysis did not emerge all at once; they gradually became more complex.
Metapsychology can be considered a map of each era; it can be studied, revisited, and revised, incorporating new knowledge and rearticulating the conceptual advances of Psychoanalysis.
The fecundity of Freud's century-old legacy challenges us even today, because, a century ago, Freud discovered that the human being is multiple and singular, and that the world is more complex than we can imagine. [...]
