We are in the 21st century, and many of the ideas and knowledge acquired throughout our lives are being questioned or no longer help us in our daily lives. Binary thinking, gender issues, modes of procreation, ways of being with others, kinship rules, the space-time category, the relationship with nature, and finally, the foundations of subjective constitution are all in crisis. We live in an era characterized by technological innovations, virtual spaces, and hybridized bodies of men and machines. Transformations that often leave us speechless and directionless.
Our way of approaching knowledge, since Modernity, has been based primarily on antinomian orders: subject/object, chance/determination, cause/effect, among others. The antinomies of modernity imply binaries, oppositions, centralities, and hierarchies that assume a single path for the construction of scientific thought, supported by conclusive and universal definitions.
