The author addresses the specificity of the teaching of Psychoanalysis and emphasizes what essentially differentiates it from the teaching of other sciences. She calls our attention to the idealization process throughout the psychoanalytical education and to the necessary replacement of that process with the valuing process. She shows that in teaching psychoanalysis one enables a capacity to contain the state of uncertainty, which makes it possible to creatively search for what is “farther away...”, the anguishing theoretical-clinical and personal exploration of that so familiar and so strange “sinisterness”!
