Abstract

The paper deals with violence, a topic that has been widely debated and depicted by the mass media, as being the result of aggressive and destructive impulses that are inherent to human beings. It highlights that life is the most precious thing man was given, but that he ends up annihilating it by committing imperceptible suicides over the years. It also shows that having to cope with hardships renders man more humane, allowing him to use destructiveness in a harmonious fashion to his own benefit and to the benefit of humankind. Finally, the article gives an inkling of some clinical situations, showing some aspects of disguised violence, and its action, transformation and integration.
