In this communication, the author attempts to bring two contemporary thinkers: J. L. Borges (1899-1986) and W.R. Bion (1897-1972). Coincidentally, in both libraries we are able to find similar readings and authors, especially when it comes to literature, specifically English literature. The article intends to draw the attention of psychoanalysts to the importance of the aesthetic-literary vertice. It also show sthe importance of Borges’ thought, his work discipline and clippings with which the author hopes to contribute to the formation of a psychoanalyst through Bion’s concepts. This work also highlights the ability to observe the human soul phenomena, the importance of intuition and aesthetic resources, as a methodological task, and the psychoanalyst training related to the need to devote to the study of the “canonical” authors in literature, in order to develop his /her sensitivity to grasp what lies beyond the sensory and the manifest.Downloads
