foreign body? How do we go and where do we go?

The authors describe the multidisciplinary process of elaborating the video Corpo no Minuto, whose proposal was to put in 60 seconds a theme linked to the body. The video called Gaúcho: corpo estrangeiro? was finished after five months of warm and intense weekly discussions between three psychoanalysts of SBPdePA and a designer. During the meetings, we sought to find a focus and support for the issue of the foreigner and also we traveled through different authors of Psychoanalysis and other areas. We discussed the material that was searched for in old photos of Indians, blacks and the main migratory currents of Rio Grande do Sul and, to show the current panorama, we provided photos and videos with random interviews, with the question: your parents and your grandparents, where are they from? After the conclusion of the video, our concern went to the clinic, with the questions: How does the appearance of this foreignism appear in the clinic. Does this ethnic mixture of the Rio Grande do Sul gaucho appear as an inheritance from which the subject appropriates? Does it appear as a transgenerational secret? We can give a name to the phenomenon that we frequently observe in the psychoanalytic clinic of RGS, in individual, family and / or couple treatments: the difficulty in recognizing ethnic origins?
