This work aims to present the report of a project carried out by SBPdePA in partnership with the Tennis Foundation, aimed at offering listening and support to parents/guardians of 2,700 children and adolescents in situations of high social vulnerability, assisted by that Foundation. With the project in practice, the wide range of possibilities that psychoanalysis and its tools offer us becomes evident, as well as the different demands and realities. We see a lot of psychological, family and social helplessness. Most mothers are women survivors of trauma, caregivers of their little ones (children) and their big ones (parents), with many overlaps in this enormous and complex role that is CARING. The space for psychoanalytic listening that we are offering is unprecedented in their lives, modifying a kind of order in force in most of their stories. Family dynamics are looked at, thought about and reflected on, pointing to new paths, with greater confidence and hope.
