During the 2024/2025 board term, one of the topics addressed was sexuality. The scientific board and the committee organized discussion groups during 2024 entitled Sexuality and Gender: Origins and Destinations as well as a series of conferences with international guests. Working in harmony and collaboration, a hallmark of this board, resulted in this Journal, which, in addition to its proposed theme, encompasses other theoretical contributions on diverse topics, as well as reviews. The in-depth exploration of topics, their innovations, and theoretical contributions are the hallmarks of this edition, which seeks to encourage readers, and especially psychoanalysts, to revisit their practices and theoretical constructs, aligning themselves more closely with the cultural, social, and political changes emerging in contemporary times.
